The Founder

The Founder:

Mirka Bezouskova is a Czech fashion designer based in London with a sassy and unique style inspired mostly by the vintage look and nature. She uses sustainable fabric from natural fibres with her own original prints emerging from her artworks.

Her personalised printed T-shirts, fabric and silk scarves are mostly inspired by nature, female portraits, shapes, or objects such as shoes or figures arranged into a desirable pattern.

Previously, as a clothing shop owner, she obtained a good understanding of women’s needs. She developed an excellent styling method to accentuate the best features of her clients that work harmoniously with their personalities.

Mirka’s styling philosophy usually generates from highlighting the hourglass figure which she believes that it’s the key of achieving the most flattering and feminine look which make her clients feel authentic and desirable.

Accomplishment:

Mirka holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design.

She set up her own T-shirt brand a few years later after graduating from Bucks New University having studied fashion design in 2019.

She named her fashion brand SASI LONDON after her daughter Sasi, who is both her main fan and critic as well as a huge inspiration for her.

Her target clients are best encapsulated by the ambitious mums and their daughters who support and encourage each other. SASI LONDON sustainable garments are ethically constructed to the highest standard with great attention to detail in the UK, North India and the Czech Republic.

Endeavour:

Her mission is to create ethical and sustainable ‘slow fashion’ as much as is practically possible, to help bring value and responsibility to the fashion industry. Mirka has been focusing on ‘Long-Term Consumer Behaviour Change’, encouraging consumers to prioritize quality over quantity, explaining that clothing made from natural fibres tends to last longer and they’re healthier in every way.

Mirka would like to also motivate all manufacturers to pursue certifications such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) or OEKO-TEX (Certification for safety of textile), which can signal to consumers that a product meets specific sustainability criteria.

Present project:

Mirka is currently focusing on her art and designing organic t-shirts with her own illustrations and sassy slogans. However, she is a very ambitious mum and artist who would like to expand her fashion brand to the home décor, accessories and possibly even to a perfume experience in the future as well. She’s open minded and she’s constantly seeking for exiting opportunities and collaborations.
